45 Vegan Fourth of July Eats
Hello & Happy Wednesday!!
For many of us, the Fourth of July is an excuse to travel, attend a party, but leave the cooking to someone else. Since I cook full time and it’s just a party of two for right now, we are not cooking this year! Instead we’re attending a big cookout at a local winery/resort and bringing Burt along. If you don’t follow along on IG stories, I take my dog Burt just about everywhere. Being that there is wine and our pup can come along let’s just say, you had me at hello lol.
For myself I actually love the Fourth of July. Being from the south which is ubiquitous for fire works, our neighbors actually put on a huge show every year. They were a fun family and I believe the son was actually on the show “Naked and Afraid”. If your not familiar with it, it’s where they send people out into the middle of nowhere with no cloths and perhaps some sticks to see if they can complete various challenges. Needless to say, they were very into the outdoors lol. God bless them for going out of there way every year to entertain countless people.
In addition to the Fourth of July bringing families together to celebrate this country, it also brings out the cooking, which is of course my favorite part! While I rarely eat fried foods, this holiday is an excuse to do so! Below is a list of my top 45 picks for the Fourth! From salads to sammies, desserts and even a cocktail.. these are a few of my favorite things!
Cheers to hoping you eat your face off this holiday! (see above)
