HELLO & HAPPY THURSDAY!!

Today there are a myriad of  juice companies popping up all over the place and green juice is becoming more and more accessible everywhere you go. With that being said, I think its wonderful to test various companies to find out what their objective is in creating a wonderful product that stands out among the rest.

Recently at the Whole Food’s in New York City, the Daily Greens juice has been hitting the shelves and I of course had to get my hands on their innovative juices and find out what they are all about!!

The Daily Greens company is based out of Texas and specializes in cold pressed juices with some of the most cutting edge ingredients in holistic health

THERE IS SOMETHING VERY UNIQUE ABOUT DAILY GREENS JUICE

DG_ShaunaMartin_BBP_3494

Our story is her story.

At the age of 33, our founder, Shauna Martin, was diagnosed with breast cancer. With a young family to care for, Shauna struggled to recover from the trauma of multiple surgeries and the toxic effects of chemotherapy.

Eight years clear, Shauna attributes her complete recovery from breast cancer and current healthy lifestyle, in part, to her regimen of drinking a green juice every day. Shauna decided that she wanted to share this life-enriching habit and spread the good word about drinking your vegetables.

History repeats itself, flavor after new flavor Shauna’s goal is to have as many people as possible get their daily greens through one of her drinks. Which is why she continues to create additional flavors. Consisting of a perfect blend of nutrient-rich dark leafy greens and lighter, juicer greens, each new drink is sure to be as delicious as it is nutritious. Quality-tested with our chefs and our growing legion of fans, we do everything in our power to ensure that you are drinking something that we believe will change your life for the better, for good.

About High Pressure Processing & Sustainable Practices

High Pressure Processing (“HPP”), otherwise known as pascalization, uses high pressure instead of heat to inhibit microflora growth in fresh food and therefore naturally extend its shelf life. Unlike pasteurization, pascalization is an external process; the raw product itself is never touched. Our pressurizing method uses evenly distributed pressure of cool water to destroy any harmful bacteria, such as Listeria, E. coli, Salmonella, lactic acid bacteria, yeast and mold, thereby making it safe for public consumption. Because of the chilled temperature at which the juice is treated, alongside the minimal impact that pressure has on the structure of the components responsible for nutrition and flavor, the juice remains raw and the taste remains the same.

Daily Greens views organic production from a sustainable viewpoint. We do not want to fly in fruit and vegetables from across the globe when organic source is unavailable in the US during certain portions of the year. Currently 75% of our vegetables are from organic sources during the US growing season. We focus on keeping the “dirty dozen” list of vegetables and fruit organic at all times (celery, pears, apple and spinach). Our produce is always Non-GMO (recently received certificate) and locally sourced when available.
