THE OTHER DAY I TESTED OUT THE GALLO LEA VEGAN PIZZA KITS!! 

 

I REALLY FOUND THIS PRODUCT TO BE UNIQUE AND A BLAST TO USE!!

 

THIS KIT COMES WITH EVERYTHING YOU NEED,  JUST ADD YOUR OWN TOPPINGS!!

What’s included:

  • Sauce pack
  • Dry crust mix
  • Round cooking paper
  • Directions for preparing pizza
  • Recipe suggestions for unique topping ideas. Just add your own cheese or toppings (not included). The Pizza Kit is a pantry item with an 8-month best-use by date, and no preservatives. Just keep it on the shelf, it’s ready to prepare and only 30 minutes to make!

  •  WET THE DOUGH WITH 1/2 CUP WATER AND MIX 15 TIMES
  • DRIZZLE PARCHMENT PAPER WITH OLIVE OIL
  • LAY OUT THE DOUGH AND SPREAD TO 12″
  • PLACE IN THE OVER AT 450 DEGREES FOR 8 MINUTES

I TOPPED MY BBQ PIZZA WITH SWEET EARTH CHIPOTLE SEITAN

I SAMPLED THE BBQ SAUCE AND FOUND IT TO BE A LIL TOO SWEET FOR MY TASTE BUDS!!

 

SO I DECIDED TO REMOVE SOME OF THE SWEETNESS BY ADDING OVEN ROASTED TOMATOES, RED ONION, AND GARLIC AND COOKED UP SOME SWEET EARTH BRAND CHIPOTLE SEITAN WITH A LITTLE BIT OF OLIVE OIL

I USED THIS CHEESE FOR MY TOPPING

ONCE ROLLED OUT, BAKE THE PIZZA CRUST FOR 10 MINUTES

 

I DIDN’T WANT TO OVERCOOK MY PIZZA (paranoia) SO I REMOVED IT QUICKLY, TOPPED WITH ALL MY INGREDIENTS, AND BAKED IN THE OVEN AGAIN AS INSTRUCTED

ONE THING YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF IS REMOVING THE PIZZA LOL

 

NOT ONLY IS THE PIZZA BURNING HOT DUE TO THE HIGH BAKING TEMPERATURE, BUT THE PARCHMENT PAPER MAKES IT SUPER SLIPPERY

 

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FIRM GRIP WHEN REMOVING!!

 

I STILL OF COURSE TRIED THE PIZZA EVEN THOUGH IT WAS A MESS AND IT WAS TASTY, BUT I FEEL AS THOUGH THIS PIZZA HAD MAYBE A LITTLE TOO MUCH GOING ON AND IT COMPROMISED THE FLAVOR

SINCE MY FIRST PIZZA DIDN’T AESTHETICALLY COME OUT NOT TOO PLEASING (WHOOPSIE) I WENT AHEAD A DECDIED TO MAKE THE SECOND TRADITIONAL STYLE PIZZA!!

 

THIS PIZZA CAME OUT PICTURE PERFECT!!

HERE’S HOW I MADE THIS PIZZA

 FOR THIS SAUCE I ADDED THE ROASTED TOMATOES AND GARLIC AND TONS OF FRESH BASIL AND PLACED EVERYTHING INTO A FOOD PROCESSOR

IN ADDITION TO THE SAUCE I DECIDED TO USE FIELD ROAST ITALIAN SAUSAGE ON TOP FOR A LITTLE EXTRA KICK!!

I TOOK THE FAUX SAUSAGE AND COOKED FOR A FEW MINUTES OVER MEDIUM HEAT WITH A DRIZZLE OF OLIVE OIL

TO GO ALL OUT WITH TODAY’S VEGAN OPTIONS I EVEN USED MY GO VEGGIE GRATED VEGAN PARMESAN TOPPINGS ALONG WITH FRESH BASIL FOR THE PIZZA!!

 THIS PIZZA REALLY TURNED OUT AMAZING!!

IF I WERE TO MAKE IT AGAIN I WOULD TRY ADDING MUSHROOMS OR VEGGIES TO THE SAUCE PERHAPS!!
