Life is complicated enough, we keep it pure and simple.

This is what I live by...

When I was diagnosed with a skin condition called melasma, I refused to accept chemical creams, skin discoloration and avoiding sunshine as a treatment and instead changed what I put on my plate. I quit my job in the corporate world, made peace with my past and started detoxifying my body and my life from a host of unhealthy habits. I bought a Norwalk Machine and began juicing like there was no tomorrow. I quickly realized though that the time and energy it took to prep, juice and clean up was a daunting exercise in willpower, and determination; however the results were ‘magical’. After only 3 months of juicing, and eating an organic plant based diet my melasma started to dissipate, the whites of my eyes became clearer, and my stamina and sleep improved exponentially.

I was ecstatic with the results, but knew that this sort of rigorous dedication was not something that I would be able to maintain long term. Magic Mix Juicery was born out of my desire to make healthy living effortless, and accessible for anyone in search of a healthier life and to find a solution to the problem of long term maintenance that would also fit a busy lifestyle.

What started with my personal quest for healing has now been transformed into empowering others to make bio-Individual choices that fit their lifestyle without deprivation, or hunger.

Some of the first Magic Mix products I enjoyed were the Beet Juice and the Coconut Fries!!

As someone who is enthusiastic about trying beet blends b/c I’m not fond of beet juice I was ecstatic to try theirs!!

Their beet juice was a magical mix of beets, apple. lemon, and ginger!! The taste was exactly like a fresh lemonade and was perfect for a day of painting in the sun!!

The coconut fries were something I’ve only seen once or twice so I had to try these!! These fries are made from coconut and were blended with lots of garlic and fresh herbs!! The texture was mildly chewy with a lil bit of crunch and were so tasty and filling that a lil went a long way!! I don’t have the specifics on the ingredients as the y are not available online, but if you see them in the shop be sure to pick up a bag or two!! You’ll thank me later!!

If you love coconut, you’ll love these!!

If you love garlic, you’ll love these!!

If you love flavorful amazing raw eats.. well, you’ll love these!!

WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT SPIRULINA?!

  • Spirulina contains Omega 3-,6 and 9s and is especially high in Omega-3s.
  • Spirulina is extremely high in Chlorophyll, which helps remove toxins from the blood and boost the immune system.
  • Spirulina has a very high concentration of bio-available iron and is excellent during pregnancy and for those with anemia and will not cause constipation.
  •  Spirulina is a great source of other nutrients including (according to Wikipedia): “Spirulina contains vitamins B-1(thiamine), B-2 (riboflavin), B-3(nicotinamide), B-6 (pyridoxine), B-9 (folic acid), vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin A and vitamin E. It is also a source of potassium, calcium, chromium, copper, iron, magnesium,  manganese, phosphorus,  selenium, sodium and zinc.

I was quite hesitant when I’e seen raw pies in various juice shops as I find it difficult to justify the hefty price tag, but looking back..

I HAD NO IDEA WHAT I WAS MISSING!!

I’m a HUGE coconut person, not a chocolate gal, so I opted for this coconut cream pie concoction!! The consistency is smooth like pudding and it’s drizzled with a chocolate like sauce and topped with tons of fresh coconut

The coconut flavor isn’t overpowering or smothering though, its light & smooth just like the texture!!

This entire raw vegan pie is comprised of ALL coconut!! A win win in my book!!

This is truly a slice of paradise

 EXOTIC STRAWBERRY BANANA TOAST$8.50

The Exotic Strawberry Banana Toast is a house made bread topped with organic mixed fruit and vanilla maca coconut kreme

I had always seen this dish in the fridge and it seemed as though it might not be that spectacular so I overlooked it and chose the more lunch & dinner type options, but what a HUGE mistake!! This Strawberry Banana Toast far exceeded the quality and freshness of any standard french toast I’ve ever encountered!! (honesty)

I love the raw bread combo that was super unique, not fluffly like the standard bread but still perfect for french toast!! There were multitude of nuts throughout the bread and it really added texture and complimented the toast!! The fruit was fresh, not soggy, and there was what I feel like maple syrup on the toast as well!!

The cream that accompanied this dish was delectable and reminded me of a creme brulee type topping

My opinion, you get four pieces of this amazing toast, tons of fruit, great sauce, and its raw, vegan, organic, amazing …

all for $8.50..  I’LL TAKE IT!!

Kale, spinach, ginger, pineapple, apple, lemon

This blend was a perfect green juice!! All the ingredients were my typical go to picks for my everyday green juice with the exception of pineapple!! If you’re looking for a standard green juice to try to embrace juicing, I highly recommend this option!!

It’s 5 simple ingredients, with a perfect taste!!

Pineapple, mint, lime, wheatgrass

This was one of my personal favorites!! I LOVE THE ADDITION OF WHEAT GRASS!! I feel as though a lot of juice companies overlook the idea of blending wheat grass with fresh juice, but I think it gives juice a nice nutrient boost!! This blend was light and sweet and perfect for a hot summer day and 9 hours of yoga!!

IMG_2118 Ginger, Lemon, Cayenne Pepper, Pineapple, E3Live

I grabbed this juice before yoga class and jumped on the train without realizing that there was a little bite to this blend!! I’m not a person that’s big on spice, but that’s most likely due to the fact that I don’t naturally chose those options, but this juice was actually quite good!! Yes it had a lil bit of spice to it, but it wasn’t overpowering!! The pineapple made it smooth and the addition of a lot of lemon and ginger balanced it out!!

If you love lemon & cayenne pepper, you will love this blend!!
