Have you been on the search for that one mask that accomplishes everything you need in just 10 minutes flat?!

I’ve been longing for a mask that calms and hydrates the skin, but also gives an long lasting glow..

The blossom face mask by Phenome skincare is the mask you’ve been waiting for..

Nature is our inspiration. Our skin care products are formulated almost exclusively with remarkably effective, natural and organic active ingredients combined with life-giving plant waters. We do not use any of the synthetic compounds commonly used in the cosmetics industry that are detrimental to our planet and, as the latest research suggests, may also be detrimental to our health.

According to Phenomé trusting in Nature does not mean a return to traditional, simple cosmetic manufacturing technologies. We make use of the latest scientific knowledge concerning the needs of the skin, innovative clean plant extraction technologies, and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes that meet pharmaceutical standards.

Most importantly, we treat Nature like we would our best friend. Drawing on its resources, we make sure we do no harm Nature or anyone else involved in the manufacture of our products. This is why most of the renewable plant-sourced raw materials we utilize originate from ecological plantations, and the communities which grow the plants for us receive fair prices for their produce. At the same time, we make every endeavor not to upset the balance of the natural environment when manufacturing, distributing and selling our products.

Botany and origin

Rose water used in Phenome cosmetics is obtained from the petals of Rosa centifolia – the hundred-leaved rose from Morocco. This shrubby plant of the rose family (Rosaceae) grows to about 0.5-1 meter in height and produces large, beautiful, intensly fragrant flowers, ranging from pink to dark red. The large fruits are red and cone-shaped. Rosa centifolia originates from the Caucasus but it is widely cultivated in the temperate zones of the Mediterranean region, e.g. in Syria, Lebanon, and especially in the French city of Grasse, known as the perfume capital of the world.

Rose blossoms are harvested before the flowers open. The petals must stay in place, which is why the collection is a very delicate affair. Sunlight can damage the flowers, so harvesting is done at dawn, flower by flower, as quickly as possible. At this time of the day, the flowers are richest in volatile substances such as essential oils.

Rose flower water is obtained during conventional distillation process where Rosa centifolia petals are subjected to steam. This produces a rich flower water which retains a wealth of natural ingredients such as ethereal oils, nutritious substances, and trace macro- and microelements.

9.5/10 (great smell, super hydrating, spreads easily, store in fridge during summer!)
