HELLO & HAPPY MONDAY!!!

I wanted to share with you my new found love for VIGILANT EATS Oatmeal!! For many of us, oatmeal has always been a mainstay staple for breakfast. Over time oatmeal has taken many forms. Oatmeal has evolved  from just a bowl of fresh oats to powdered flavored packages that provide nutrition specifically for women or to “lower your blood pressure”.

If you don’t think the VIGILANT EATS products are a big deal, check out the oatmeal’s on the market today which are inundated with ingredients such as caramel color etc..

Does anyone remember this GINORMOUS size multipack oatmeal you could buy?!

I do..

As a child I loved the processed packets and even remember which was my personal favorite, “Peaches and Cream”

Did you know that a typical packet of Quaker brand oatmeal can have anywhere from 13 to 25 different ingredients?!

Don’t believe me?!

Looking back, I wish there was a company like Vigilant Eats to offer wholesome, healthy, on the go oatmeal!!

This was the first blend that I tried and oat meal this morning and it’s truly the best I’ve ever had hands down!! Their is a light coco taste and a hint of sweetness. I decided to add in my chocolate based protein powder for a little kick and WOW.. good stuff!! I think this lil oatmeal runs around $5.00 for one so that’s on the expensive side. If you’re looking to recreate this mix I’ll give you a little secret..

Whole Foods offers the same mix in one of their bins with the nuts and seeds. I know, because I was addicted to it for years haha..
