The mixes are all –>  USDA ORGANIC, GMO CERTIFIED, Wheat, Gluten, Egg, Dairy, Casein, Peanut, and Nut Free

Chocolate Cake Instructions:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Remove baking mix place in bowl add 1/2 cup of milk alternative (I used O’milk cashew milk)
  • add 2 tsp of oil – I used vegetable (would use coconut oil for an extra flavor boost)
  • Beat the mixture for 10 seconds to get the lumps out, don’t over mix!! I added chia seeds on top!!
  • Place in oven, bake for 20-25 mins, let cool (I baked mine for 20 mins or less to get that moist effect, I know, people hate that word, but I prefer undercooked/soft cake)

 

SINCE I’M NOT A HUGE CHOCOLATE PERSON AND I WANTED TO GET THE FULL EFFECT OF THE QUALITY OF THEIR PRODUCT, SO I DIDN’T GET ALL FANCY WITH THIS MIX (EXCEPT FOR THE CHIA SEEDS LOL)

 

TO ADD YOUR OWN PERSONAL TOUCHES YOUR COULD ABSOLUTELY ADD FRUIT, SEASONINGS, ZUCCHINI, PEANUT BUTTER, OR VEGAN MARSHMALLOWS!!

 

Each Net Wt. 11.7 oz (331.7g) 
Makes 1 9″ Round Cake or 12 cupcakes

Ingredients: Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic White Rice Flour, Organic Brown Rice Flour, Organic Fair Trade Cocoa Powder, Organic Potato Starch, Organic Tapioca Starch, Sodium Bicarbonate, Aluminum-Free Baking Powder (Sodium acid pyrophosphate, Sodium bicarbonate, Corn starch, Monocalcium phosphate), Xanthan Gum, Evaporated Sea Salt.

I’VE NEVER MADE ICING BEFORE, BUT THIS PROCESS WAS A BREEZE JUST LIKE THE CAKE!!

 

JUST LIKE THE CAKE, IT COMES WITH A SINGLE POWDERED MIX

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Place mix in a bowl or food processor

  • add 1/4 to 1/2 cup butter substitute (I used Earth Balance)

  •  Add a tbsp of milk alternative (I used OMilk Cashew)

  • Blend, if icing is too thick, gradually add more milk

  • Gently spread the icing and ENJOY!!

I HAVE TO ADMIT, THIS CAKE TOTALLY SURPRISED ME..

 

AFTER EACH BITE, I HAD TO KEEP TELLING MYSELF, I’M NOT A CHOCOLATE PERSON LOL

 

BEING RICH AND POWERFUL IN FLAVOR, I HAD TO LITERALLY PACE MYSELF… BUT I COULDN’T GET ENOUGH!!

 

ONE THING IS FOR SURE..

 

YOU KNOW ITS A GOOD CHOCOLATE CAKE..

WHEN SOMEONE WHO LOATHES CHOCOLATE FALLS HEAD OVER HEELS FOR A SLICE!!

I WAS ACTUALLY QUITE NERVOUS ABOUT BAKING AS THE ONLY TIME I BAKED WAS IN MY COOKING CLASS AT NYU, SO THE IDEA OF BAKING A CAKE & MAKING MY OWN ICING SOUNDED WELL.. CHALLENGING

 

BUT IT WAS ACTUALLY A PIECE OF CAKE..
